Recently, 20 friends and I celebrated my wife's birthday at Stoddard's, located in Downtown Crossing.
To say the least, our expectations were blown away. From the moment you walk in, you can't help but be overwhelmed with the modern industrial aesthetic the pub possesses. For me, it's my most favorite designed
restaurant in Boston, in quite some time. Cuchi Cuchi has held the reigns for years, but it's no longer my #1.

Presented with the private room as a surprise from the manager, we were completely catered with 2 waiters, a private bar w/ a bartender, a visit from the Exec. Chef to consult w/ our vegetarian guest, and a bill that totaled less than $1000. And let me tell you, we were all drinking and eating as if there were no tomorrow, so to have such a reasonable bill at the end, proved to be another great surprise.

Displaying even more customer service, one week following the dinner, I received an email from the manager
ensuring our experience was a positive one. I'm a sucker for genuine customer service and passion for your job.

My wife and I have since returned, for their Sunday Jazz Brunch, and the experience was just as wonderful.
When you do visit Stoddard's, be sure to have their amazing Moscow Mule served in a chilled copper mug,
you won't regret it.
